Music is everywhere. In the gusts of wind, in the rain pounding the windowsill, in the rhythm of architectural forms, in the flight of birds, in people’s conversations on the underground trains, in the drubbing of carriages on the rails, in the din of machinery, in the shouting of crowds, in the words one reads. I listen and search, constantly. I observe, write down, record, and try to remember. This is how I recharge my batteries.
